Once you have settled in at Westwood House and taken time to explore, it quickly becomes clear just how relaxing your stay will be. From the moment you arrive, the attention to detail and quality of the home is evident throughout – in the generous spaces, considered finishes and the sense of calm that flows from room to room. Owned by Jill Kemp, Westwood House has been thoughtfully maintained as a place where guests can truly feel at ease and enjoy time well spent.
Westwood offers three beautifully appointed luxury suites available to book individually with use of the shared guest lounge and outdoor pool and patio areas, or exclusive use of the full guest wing.
Equally captivating are Westwood’s beautifully landscaped gardens, which surround the house and enhance the sense of space and tranquillity. Architectural plantings frame the home with care and precision, reflecting the same attention to detail found indoors.
Extensive verandahs provide sheltered outdoor spaces year-round, with multiple vantage points from which to enjoy the gardens, pond and distant views toward the Tararua Ranges. Whether indoors or out, Westwood House invites you to slow down, unwind and savour your surroundings.

Very close to Greytown (walkable) while still feeling peaceful and away from traffic down a nice avenue. As others have mentioned, the accommodation, while attached to Jill’s main house, is very much private. Felt like separate cottage.
This is both a high quality accommodation and a supreme location back from Greytown’s high street. Suited for a couple or single, it is perfect for a weekend away in Wairarapa.
The place was spotless, very modern and such a lovely peaceful place.
